As a senior developer, youll be driving our platform forwards and delivering quality solutions to business-critical customer requirements. Based in Bangalore, you will collaborate in a dynamic global team with fellow technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.
As a strong Java developer with strong backend experience (mandatory), you will be expected to hit the ground running delivering quality solutions to business-critical customer requirements. Key Attributes
An excellent Java developer with good software design principles and the ability to write robust code and accompanying test suites.
Ability to write efficient, clear code and be able to articulate what has been implemented and why.
Self-starter who can drive/facilitate requirements and development effort
Take ownership and responsibility for the full development lifecycle
Experience working in an agile development environment
A team player, capable of engaging with other teams
Experience in the end-to-end design, development, and support of financial markets systems
Experience with real-time (event-driven) architectures
Provide second line support
Domain knowledge in low latency trading systems is a plus
Some UI Development experience
Being a full-stack web developer is a plus

Skills And Experience
Minimum 12+ years of development experience preferably full stack with strong backend experience (mandatory)
Strong java development background with good hands-on experience in data structures and, algorithms and concurrency frameworks
Experience in Messaging systems like Solace, distributed caching systems like hazel cast, Oracle

Qualifications
Technical skills:
12+ years hands on development with investment banking IT experience
Low latency trading application development a big plus.
Core Java (essential), Concurrency, Spring
Strong design and architecture skills
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps
Experience in micro-services/REST API and container technologies (preferably OpenShift or Docker)
Familiar with API development and API gateways like NGNIX or KONG
Familiar with distributed cache like Hazelcast.
Experience with messaging systems like ActiveMQ/Solace
Strong experience with Oracle DB design
Any UI Development experience is a strong plus preferably Core JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, React, npm/yarn and webpack.
Functional Skills
Financial Market domain knowledge especially around low latency Trading / Order Management
Investment banking is a strong plus
Fx trading knowledge business is a plus
Soft Skills
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Ability to mentor junior team members
Strong ownership and ability to deal with ambiguity
Outstanding problem-solving skills
