Junior Software QA Tester

Position Summary

As a Junior Software QA Tester, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of realworld one’s Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) software products. 
  
You will test core platform functionality and new features across desktop, Android and immersive environments, working with developers, producers, product managers, QA colleagues, and automation testers. 
  
With guidance, you will provide clear test results, defect evidence, and basic analysis of automated or pipeline-test failures, helping the team deliver stable releases.

Responsibilities

• High motivation to learn quickly, take ownership of assigned work and apply feedback, with attention to detail and reliable, high-quality work expected from day one
• Execute assigned functionality, regression, exploratory, gameplay, content and VR testing across core platform functionality and new features.
• Test flows such as login, user access, permissions, application or session launch, communication features, and connected web portals.
• Follow requirements and test plans, update straightforward test cases, and accurately record passed, failed, blocked and untested scope.
• Identify, reproduce and document defects with build, device and environment details, clear steps, expected and actual results, and evidence.
• Verify fixes and run relevant regression checks across desktop, Android and VR environments with guidance.
• Review automated functional and pipeline-integration results, compare them with observed behavior, and escalate failures with useful evidence.
• Support approved builds through documented integration and release workflows, reporting build or pipeline issues promptly.
• Communicate priorities, blockers and coverage clearly, contribute to peer-reviewed reports, and support test-planning and release-readiness discussions.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in software, platform, game or interactive-product testing; freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome.
• Basic understanding of functional, regression and exploratory testing, the defect life cycle, and severity or user impact.
• Ability to test methodically across platforms, devices, builds and environments and compare results accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, clear defect-reporting skills and effective spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with Jira, continuous-integration concepts or automated test results is an advantage; automation coding is not required.
• Interest in VR and AR; exposure to headset, Android, desktop, API or data-validation testing is an advantage but not required.
