BeBetta is building India’s ultimate commerce rewards platform. We enable users to unlock rewards through their everyday actions—scanning shopping bills, linking accounts like Gmail or apps like Swiggy and Zepto, and playing games on our platform.

To scale this platform, we are looking for a curious, high-energy Junior Backend Developer to join our Core Platform Engineering team. Working alongside experienced senior engineers, you will help build and maintain Go-based microservices that power high-concurrency reward pipelines, transactional integrations, and gaming APIs.

If you have strong computer science fundamentals, love writing Go code, and want an accelerated learning curve in high-scale backend engineering, this role is for you!

What You’ll Achieve

🚀 Build & Maintain Backend Services

• Write clean, performant, and maintainable Golang code for our core microservices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs powering bill uploads, third-party app integrations, and in-app game mechanics under senior guidance.
  
  

⚡ Learn Concurrency & Data Processing

• Work on backend features that ingest transactional data, parse app activity, and process reward distributions accurately.
• Gain hands-on exposure to caching, transactional consistency, database indexing, and backend scalability patterns.
  
  

🧠 Learn & Collaborate

• Participate actively in code reviews to ship quality code and rapidly upgrade your backend design skills.
• Learn backend microservices standards and clean code practices directly from seasoned system architects.
  
  

📈 Support System Quality & Reliability

• Write reliable unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation.
• Assist in debugging bugs, analyzing application logs, monitoring performance, and resolving operational issues.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 0–1 year of backend engineering experience (via full-time roles, internships, or production-grade personal projects).
• Solid understanding of Golang concepts, goroutines, channels, and standard packages (or strong CS fundamentals in C++/Java with hands-on Go experience).
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and core CS fundamentals.
• Familiarity with building RESTful APIs and working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Basic understanding of caching mechanisms (Redis) and version control (Git).
• Hands-on exposure to Docker and Linux environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn fast in a startup environment.
