Conduct stage-wise inspections during system assembly and MEA manufacturing processes.
Verify compliance with approved drawings, BOM, SOPs, work instructions, and control plans.
Monitor critical process parameters and ensure adherence to defined quality gates.
Perform first article inspection (FAI) / initial sample inspection.
Identify, document, and escalate deviations, defects, and non-conformities.
Ensure proper implementation of in-process checks by production teams.
Support line clearance activities and changeover validations.
Final Quality Assurance (FQA)
Perform final inspection of finished systems and MEA assemblies before FG release.
Verify product configuration, labeling, packaging, and documentation completeness.
Ensure product meets customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
Conduct functional testing / verification as applicable.
Ensure correct serialization, traceability, and batch control.
Build-to-Finished Goods to-Shipment Control
Validate product quality from manufacturing completion to FG stage.
Ensure all inspection and test records are complete and approved.
Review and authorize OK-to-Shipment based on compliance.
Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for release of conforming products only.
Prevent shipment of non-conforming or unverified products.
Non-Conformance Management
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track closure.
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Implement containment actions for defective lots.
Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality reports.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / applicable QMS standards.
Support internal and external audits.
Continuous Improvement
Identify quality improvement opportunities in processes.
Defect reduction initiatives.
Analyze quality data and drive trend-based improvements.
Cross-functional Coordination
Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.
Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related issues.
Provide feedback on process improvements.
Education And Experience Required
Diploma / bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / Electronics / Industrial Engineering or related field with 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance in manufacturing environment is desired.
Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and quality tools.
Familiarity with GD&T, drawings, and technical specifications.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS practices.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and control plans.
Proficiency in measurement tools and testing equipment.
