Job Opportunity - Automation Playbook Contingent Worker - IT Risk - WFO

Summary: The Automation Contingent Worker will enhance operational efficiency within the IT Risk department by automating control validation processes and streamlining daily tasks. This role is crucial for improving risk management through automation, ensuring that processes are effective and accurate.

Main Responsibilities:

• Control Validation Automation: Review existing processes and use tools like Alteryx, Power Platform, and scripting to automate and improve control validations.
• Task Automation and Efficiency Improvement: Identify repetitive tasks for automation to enhance team productivity and focus on strategic initiatives.
• IT Risk Playbook Participation: Collaborate with team members to develop and maintain risk playbooks, ensuring alignment with automated processes.
• Data Visualization and Reporting: Use Power BI to create dashboards that provide insights into control validation metrics and automation performance.
• Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Work with the IT Risk team to gather requirements, train team members on automation tools, and foster continuous improvement.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor automated processes for effectiveness and reliability, seeking opportunities for refinement and optimization.
  
  

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in Python, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in process automation and scripting.
• Familiarity with IT risk management concepts and frameworks.
  
  

• Knowledge of the IT risk environment.
• Familiarity with Power Platform.
• Understanding of the investment banking sector.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform or CISA.
