General Description Of Role

This role combines hands‑on delivery ownership (planning, dependency management, risk tracking) with servant leadership and Agile facilitation to deliver enterprise-scale data workloads following a data lakehouse architecture on a modern cloud-based data stack for our new Commercial Risk Solutions Ecosystem. The role is ideal for complex data, analytics, cloud, and AI initiatives, where strong technical coordination, delivery discipline, and Agile maturity are all required.

Job Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of technical initiatives across data, analytics, cloud, and AI platforms.
• Build and manage project plans, sprint/release plans, dependencies, and milestones.
• Track scope, schedule, risks, issues, and delivery commitments.
• Coordinate work across engineering, architecture, analytics, platform, and security teams.
• Provide clear, concise status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support release planning, go‑live readiness, and production transitions.
• Agile Facilitation Responsibilities: Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Scrum
• Sprint Review
• Sprint Retrospective
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, ensuring knowledge transfer, observability and supportability.
  
  

Skills/competencies Required

• College degree in STEM-related subject area, applicable certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in technical delivery roles (Project Manager, Scrum Master, or hybrid).
• Demonstrated experience delivering data, analytics, cloud, or platform initiatives.
• Experience working with distributed, multi-functional, and global teams
• Agile certification preferred: CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master
• Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of:
• Data platforms (lakehouse, data warehouse, pipelines)
• Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Analytics / BI ecosystems
• Ability to engage credibly with architects and engineers, understand technical sequencing, and manage dependencies.
• Confident facilitator of team and collaborator discussions. Highly organized, execution‑focused, and adaptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Tooling, Metrics & Transparency
• Hands on experience with Agile technical practices, source versioning and Agile project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, other)
• Dashboards and delivery metrics.
• Agile planning skills – Kanban and Scrum release/sprint planning.
• Deep understanding of business context of the data, detail oriented, excellent problem solving skills
