Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the team to maintain efficient functional network and communication connectivity for all users.
• Analyze, plan, test, implement, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN and communications network systems.
• Detect, isolate, notify, and correct faults encountered in the network infrastructure.
• Manage the configuration aspects of network devices such as configuration file management, inventory management, and software management.
• Perform network planning, modeling, capacity planning, and lab testing for communication systems and applications.
• Monitor and measure various aspects of performance so that overall performance can be maintained at an acceptable level.
• Collect, monitor, and analyze usage information of network resources to support proactive management and future planning.

• Bachelors degree and 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
• Ability to meet requirements for Public Trust 6C or higher security clearance.
• Development or coding basic knowledge of scripting (Python or JSON)
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals including OSI knowledge and routing and switching.
• Experience with wireless technologies (Aruba wireless, Aruba ClearPass preferred)
• Cloud network understanding and experience (AWS, Azure and Google Cloud preferred)
• Experience with SDWAN (Cloudgenix / Palo Alto preferred)
• Familiarity with access control models and network security.
• Fundamental understanding of generative AI and ML tools and technologies
• Experience with automating network tasks preferred.
  
  

• Bachelors degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with network diagramming, diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (SolarWinds, Aruba Central, Palo Alto Panorama, Lucidchart).
• Solid understanding of network operating systems (Cisco IOS).
• Sharp troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to quality, care for detail and solution oriented, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn, collaborative, team focus and great communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Balance and complete projects on time
• Understand Agile principles including but not limited to Kanban, Sprints, Daily Standup
