Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and a maximum of 5 years in managing IT assets. As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all IT assets, tracking their usage and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals
• Monitor and track asset usage and ensure that all assets are being utilized efficiently
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of asset records
• Coordinate with vendors for timely maintenance and repairs of assets
• Develop and maintain processes and procedures for asset acquisition, deployment, and retirement
• Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and manage license renewals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any asset-related issues
• Prepare and present reports on asset usage, costs, and trends to management
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies for effective asset management
  
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT asset management
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of asset management software and tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of software licensing and compliance regulations is a plus
• Experience with asset tracking in a cloud-based environment is preferred
• ITIL certification is a plus.
