Job Description

About Us

Scapia! A credit card that’s out there to make travel happen for people, by converting their everyday expenses into travel experiences. We’re a bunch of passionate people who work together, brainstorm, and debate with each other, and don’t stop until we’re proud of our work. Customer delight tops everything else! We’ve worked hard to create an environment of honesty and passion that sets everyone up for success.

About the Role

We are looking for Group Product Manager to Group Product Manager to lead our Storefront, Recommendations & CRM

What You’ll Do

Build the systems that recognize who a user is and serve them something relevant, on the surfaces that matter, through the channels where they are present.

This role owns four connected goals:

Maximize LTV through personalized discovery and cross-sell

Build the recommendations platform that powers contextual discovery across homepage, inner pages, order confirmation, and coin pages. The job is to move users through activation, habit formation, retention, and monetization, not just show them more inventory.

Deliver a best-in-class app and web experience

Reduce performance and reliability friction across the journey: app size, app start time, crash-free rate, app load time, app-open-to-home latency, and web metrics (FCP, LCP, landing page optimization). This is the foundation the recommendations platform sits on.

Build a unified view of customer intent

Combine behavioral and declared signals into a single, coherent picture of what each user wants and when. This powers personalization today and future monetization surfaces including ads, where Scapia's travel-financial identity graph becomes something advertisers pay to reach.

Own communication as a product surface

Build in-app notifications and CRM systems that optimize for reach and open rate without degrading user trust. Scapia's new and existing cohorts each need a different message, cadence and channel. Getting it right is one of the highest-leverage, lowest-cost retention levers available.

What You’ll Own

  • The recommendations platform roadmap, surfaces, user signals, context and supply signals that go into the models
  • App performance and web performance workstreams, partnering closely with platform and infra engineering
  • The customer data and signals strategy that unifies behavioral and declared intent
  • CRM and in-app notification systems, including segmentation logic and trust guardrails

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years in product management, with at least 2-3 years owning a recommendations, personalization, or lifecycle marketing system at meaningful scale
  • Demonstrated ability to reason about cohorts, not averages: you segment users by behavior and design differently for each segment rather than shipping one experience for everyone
  • Working fluency with app performance metrics (crash-free rate, cold start time) and web performance metrics (Core Web Vitals), even if you haven't personally owned an infra roadmap
  • Experience partnering with data science or ML teams on signal design, feature stores, or recommendation models
  • A track record of building CRM or notification systems that grew engagement without eroding trust or triggering fatigue/opt-outs
  • Comfort managing PMs and running a multi-workstream charter, not just a single feature line
  • Financial services, travel, or loyalty/rewards experience is a plus, not a requirement
