Group Product Manager, Data and AI Platform

At eBay, we're seeking a dedicated and ambitious Group Product Manager to drive our internal data and AI platform products. This is an outstanding opportunity to play a pivotal role in crafting the future of ecommerce by employing powerful data and AI technologies!

The role is aligned to the Cloud Data Technologies (CDT) team at eBay which is responsible for all the data infrastructure and management of end-to-end data lifecycle for all eBay data from onsite to analytics use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and implementation of the product roadmap for data and AI platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Define product requirements, prioritize features, and drive product development with a world-class engineering team.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to determine product direction.
• Ensure the successful implementation of data and AI tools, improving overall platform performance.
• Strictly manage timelines, deliverables, and collaborator communications.
  
  
  

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience (managing high performing teams for at least 3 years)
• Demonstrated background in product management, especially in data and AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of data development tools and AI development tools.
• Outstanding leadership and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable product strategies.
• Track record of successfully launching and managing high-impact products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach.
