Global Head Of Quality

Your Job

As Global Head of Quality, you will provide executive leadership and governance for all quality-related activities across one of Molex’s global businesses. You will define and drive the Quality strategy, ensure robust and scalable Quality Management Systems (QMS), and embed advanced quality practices across the entire product lifecycle.

Reporting directly to the Business Unit General Manager as well as to the head of Operations, you will align quality outcomes with business strategy, operational performance, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements.

Operating at an enterprise level, you will partner with senior leaders across Product Management, Operations, Supply Chain, and global supplier networks to deliver quality excellence, mitigate risk, and enable sustainable growth.

What You Will Do

• Lead the global Quality vision and transformation roadmap, aligning quality outcomes with business strategy and operational performance.
• Act as the senior authority on Quality, advising the executive team on risk, trade-offs, and performance implications.
• Own and govern the enterprise QMS and Environmental Management System to ensure effectiveness, scalability, and regulatory alignment.
• Define and embed end-to-end Quality Assurance frameworks across the product lifecycle, including design controls, supplier qualification, and launch readiness.
• Establish governance (audit strategy, management reviews, CAPA) and drive standardization, simplification, and digitalization of quality processes.
• Integrate quality into operational KPIs and drive measurable improvement in defects, COPQ, and customer complaints.
• Lead systemic root cause analysis and cross-functional corrective and preventive actions to resolve complex quality issues.
• Lead supplier quality strategy and governance to mitigate risk, improve supplier performance, and manage escalations.
• Serve as the senior escalation contact for critical customer quality issues and ensure rapid containment and sustained resolution.
• Build global capability through organization design, talent development, and the deployment of Lean, Six Sigma, and digital quality tools.
  
  
  

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading Quality strategy and organizations in complex, global or multi-site environments.
• Knowledgeable in ISO Quality and Environmental Management System frameworks and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across regions and cultures.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
  
  
  

What Will Put You Ahead

• Professional certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor.
• Experience leading enterprise-level quality or compliance organizations and large-scale QMS transformations.
• Track record embedding Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), risk-based decision making, and preventive quality methodologies.
• Experience managing major customer quality engagements and executive-level escalations.
• Background in policy-driven industrial or high-volume manufacturing environments.
