Responsibilities: Working with internal stakeholders to develop web applications and apps in React JS that support our clinical workflows. Developing and implementing highly-responsive, mobile-friendly, and reusable user interface components. Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers. Monitoring and improving front-end performance. Participating in front-end architecture design and review to support user interface concepts. Learning new techniques in the world of software engineering and putting them into practice to develop novel approaches in the domain of healthcare applications. Requirements: 2-4 years of experience in React, JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Thorough understanding of React and its core principles. Experience in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and wire-framing tools. Extensive experience with data structure libraries. Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools. Experience using version control systems like Git in a professional/workplace environment. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience in cloud native application development and deployment. Strong communication skills with the ability to relay information across disciplines and to external partners. Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment supporting a rapidly growing business.
