We’re looking for a Frontend Engineer who loves building fast, clean, and reliable web applications. You’ll work on real product features used in production, not just UI screens — performance, browser behavior, and user experience all matter here.

You’ll be part of a small, fast-moving team where your code goes live quickly and your decisions directly shape the product.

What You’ll Do

• Take features from idea → code → production
• Work closely with designers and backend engineers
• Design and own frontend architecture for new product flows
• Focus on Performance and Accessibility
• Create responsive, mobile-first user experiences
• Ensuring components developed are inclusive, performant across low-end devices, and maintainable within a complex distributed system.
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• JavaScript: An understanding of the ECMAScript standard with 2+ years of hands-on experience.
• TypeScript Mastery: Deep understanding of strict-mode TS, including conditional types, generics, and template literal types.
• The React 19 Stack: Proficiency with the latest React patterns and the ability to leverage the React Compiler for automatic optimisation.
• Modern Tooling: Hands-on experience with Vite-based build systems and Turborepo for monorepo management.
• Testing Excellence: Commitment to quality using Vitest for unit logic and Playwright for robust E2E and visual regression testing.
• API Knowledge: Strong understanding of REST, streaming protocols for AI, and standardising events with CloudEvents.
• Browser Specialisation: Familiarity with offloading heavy logic to Web Workers and an awareness of WebAssembly/WebGPU for specialised performance needs.
  
  
  

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You

• Care about clean, maintainable code
• Take ownership of what you build along with performance ownership; for example monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals, with a specific focus on Interaction to Next Paint (INP) to ensure sub-100ms responsiveness.
• Like solving real-world frontend problems, not just styling
• Enjoy working in a startup environment with autonomy and responsibility
• Maintain Type Integrity: Build and consume type-safe API contracts to ensure end-to-end reliability between backend microservices and the front-end.
• State & Data Orchestration: Implement robust server-state management; using for example TanStack Query and lightweight client-side state using Zustand or fine-grained Signals.
• Love taking the plunge into Modern Styling by utilizing frameworks like Tailwind CSS 4.0 and headless component patterns to build high-performance, accessible design systems.
