As a Forward Deployed Engineer - Observability & Platform - Associate, you will be at the forefront of delivering managed services that streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency for our clients. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on transitioning and running services, managing delivery teams, and optimizing processes to drive value and success. Your role will involve continuous improvement and the strategic management of delivery risk, making a tangible impact on client engagements.

Responsibilities

- Supporting the transition and management of outsourced services to enhance client operations
- Collaborating with delivery teams to optimize processes and tools for managed services
- Engaging in project management tasks to streamline operations and improve efficiency
- Applying automation frameworks to drive continuous process improvement
- Participating in the design and development of automation solutions for business processes
- Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and inform process optimization
- Contributing to the development of service management strategies to meet client needs
- Assisting in the planning and execution of deliverables to validate timely project delivery
- Engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and manage expectations
- Upholding professional and technical standards in alignment with firm guidelines

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelors degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Proven experience keeping production systems reliable on AWS in an SRE or similar role.

• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes and containers in production.

• Working knowledge of core AWS services and cloud-native operations.

• Experience owning monitoring and observability, and working to SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.

• Experience managing production incidents end to end, including on-call.

• Scripting ability for automation (Python and/or Bash).

• A genuine understanding of how AI-assisted tools support operations, and comfort using them in incident triage and resolution.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or actively working towards it).
