Finops Analyst

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their finance career who enjoys structure, precision, and learning the rhythm of financial operations in a fast-moving startup environment. Youll work closely with our Finance and Operations team to ensure smooth payment cycles, accurate accounting records, and timely statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across bank accounts, wallets, and accounting ledgers.
• Track outstanding payables and coordinate with internal teams for timely closures.
• Supported-to-end vendor payment processing from invoice validation and approval routing to final disbursement.
• Assist in monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary data, deductions, and statutory contributions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc. ).
• Help prepare and maintain taxation-related records, including TDS and GST entries, filings, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation in tools such as Zoho Books, Tally, or QuickBooks.
• Support month-end closing activities, audits, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with HR, business operations, and vendors to resolve discrepancies or data mismatches.
• Contribute to small process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial workflows.
  
  

• 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, payroll, taxation, or operational finance.
• Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, payroll workflows, and tax compliance.
• Good command over Excel(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc. ) and familiarity with ERP/accounting tools(Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, etc. ).
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a learning mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
