Meet the Team

The Finance Department provides best in class advice, support and control to our businesses and investors through an experienced and dedicated global team. We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to join our Bengaluru Finance team, managing a team of Bengaluru based analysts. This role will manage compensation accounting processes across management companies, including but not limited to payroll, agency fees, and other employee-related costs. The role will partner with HR, external auditors, and finance stakeholders across Asia, Europe, and New York.

What You'll Do

• Review the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for global compensation-related accounting across management companies.
• Oversee accounting for payroll, bonuses, deferred compensation, benefits, agency fees, and other employee-related costs.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared, reviewed, and fully substantiated for compensation-related accounts.
• Review income statement activity and investigate variances to ensure accurate reporting.
• Engage closely with HR teams to accurately report and record global compensation across management companies.
• Manage, coach, and develop Bengaluru based analysts, including review of deliverables, prioritization, and ongoing development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation across compensation accounting activities.
• Participate in local, regional, and global finance-related projects and assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  
  

• Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent accounting qualification preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate accounting, controllership, compensation accounting, payroll accounting, or financial reporting.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
• Experience with global payroll accounting, compensation accruals, and agency or vendor fee accounting strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a demanding environment. Strong attention to detail and adherence to strict confidentiality.
• Proactive individual with strong interpersonal and client service skills.
• Strong technical proficiency (e.g. Excel, Alteryx and general AI knowledge) and familiarity with accounting software; Oracle experience is a plus.
