The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing skills, capable of working independently in field environments while prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction.
Installation and Commissioning: Perform on-site installation of Milli-Q systems, including setup of purification units, tanks, dispensers, and associated plumbing/electrical connections. Conduct system validation and performance testing to ensure optimal operation.
Maintenance and Repairs: Execute preventive maintenance schedules, diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and software, and repair or replace components such as filters, UV lamps, RO membranes, and sensors. Respond to service calls within agreed SLAs (e.g., 24-48 hours).
Troubleshooting: Analyze system issues related to water quality, flow rates, pressure, or contamination. Use tools like multimeters, pH meters, and conductivity testers to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Customer Support: Provide training to end-users on system operation, maintenance, and best practices. Offer technical advice via phone, email, or remote diagnostics. Build strong relationships with lab managers, researchers, and procurement teams.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of service activities, parts usage, and system performance in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or SAP). Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements, including water quality standards (e.g.ASTM, USP) and safety protocols.
Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory in service vehicles or warehouses, ordering supplies as needed to minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in product feedback loops to report common issues to R&D teams. Stay updated on product updates through training and certifications.
Travel and On-Call Duties: Travel up to 70% within the assigned territory; participate in on-call rotations for emergency support
