Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the engineering function for development of AI-powered products and agent-driven workflows.
• Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle across multiple concurrent projects, including planning, execution, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of high-caliber software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Business, Sales, and other stakeholders to align engineering execution with product vision and business goals.
• Ensure adoption and enforcement of engineering best practices, coding standards, architecture guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
• Drive technical decision-making with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management to build a world-class engineering organization.
• Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, assess trade-offs, and deliver optimal outcomes for the organization.
• You will research and maintain a deep knowledge of the industry, including trends and technologies, so that you can identify strategy opportunities and contribute to thought leadership best practices. You’ll also write extensible code that spans multiple features, and develop expertise in proper debugging techniques.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of proven experience of building and scaling enterprise-grade software products.
• Strong track record of delivering large, cross-functional projects in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on technical background with experience in one or more of the following:
• Languages: Java, Node.js
• Databases & Systems: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Kafka
• Experience integrating AI agents into production systems for workflow orchestration
• Familiarity with cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and first-principles thinking, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
