Software Developer (2-4 Years Experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Software Developer with 2 to 4 years of experience in software design, development, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming expertise in .Net and Java, along with hands-on experience in modern software development practices, cloud technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and DevOps methodologies.

You will work as part of a dynamic engineering team to develop scalable, high-performance applications and contribute to the full software development lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications Microsoft and Java technologies.
• Develop high-performance, secure, and scalable software solutions.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases for data management and optimization.
• Implement automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
• Utilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and code analysis platforms to improve productivity and code quality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure compliance with security, performance, and coding standards.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in:
  • OOPs
  • Java
  • Python
  • JavaScript
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
• Experience using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms:

• Microsoft Azure

• Knowledge of containerization technologies:

• Docker
• Kubernetes

• Understanding of software security best practices and secure coding standards.

AI & Modern Technology Skills

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT.
• Exposure to AI API integrations and automation frameworks is an added advantage.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, unit test creation, and documentation.
