Your Team

This role is part of Account Services Team which is having Login and MyIG. You will be part of cross functional tech team to support existing system and build new system for Business teams. You will be joining a strategic part of the company and be actively contributing towards improvement of business team efficiency by providing latest tech solutions.

Your Role In The Team’s Success

Your primary responsibility will be maintaining and building backend and frontend applications on different infrastructure like VM/Nomad/GCP/AWS that will serve the Web and desktop application and provide business team with a best-in-class customer servicing experience. You will be part of a team of 10 software engineers building next gen web portal and integrating with multiple other systems to enable more e2e feature for business operation teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain existing systems using Java, Spring, Maven, React, TypeScript ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
• Be accountable for the quality of service in Production and provide support to Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance
• Utilize Kafka for message queuing and streaming, ensuring reliable and efficient data exchange.
• Develop and consume RESTful API’s and asynchronous communication, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Own and address complex changes, remove impediments, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Work in an Agile environment, applying methodologies such as pair programming, test-driven development (TDD), and behaviour-driven development (BDD).
  
  

Key Qualification Requirements

What you’ll need for this role

• 4+ years of strong proficiency in Java and React based applications.
• Backend Technology: Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservice architecture, Oracle, JMS, AMQ, and Kafka.
• Frontend Technology: Exposure of React framework with TypeScript.
• Version Control: Experience with GitLab.
• Web Services: Expertise in developing and consuming RESTful web services.
• Cloud and Containers: Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Nomad, and containerization technologies.
