Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with strong expertise in electrical schematic design and industrial systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in EPLAN and exposure to PLM and ERP tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics using EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel
• Work on control and protection systems for generators, motors, and industrial equipment
• Prepare and review engineering drawings as per industry standards
• Develop wiring schematics and harness designs
• Create Bill of Materials (BOM), cable cutting lists, and cable schedules
• Perform technical calculations, component selection, and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing and product development
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements

Work Experience

• Hands-on experience in EPLAN Electric P8 & EPLAN Pro Panel
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematic design
• Experience with PLM tools (Teamcenter / Windchill)
• Knowledge of industrial controls, MCC panels, and switchboards
• Experience in wiring schematics and harness design
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
• Exposure to CREO Schematic / CREO Harness
• Experience with SAP or ERP tools for BOM management
• Knowledge of diesel engines and genset control systems
  
  

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics / ECE or related discipline
