We are seeking for a motivated candidate who shall be responsible for EHS role based at Bangalore. This position reports to Head – EHS MEIA. The role will require undertaking EHS assignments and supporting Head – EHS in roll out programs for Middle east and Africa region along with lead EHS role for Site Bangalore. This role is ideal for candidate pursuing a highly motivated career in EHS.

EHS function provides strategic, tactical and operational support to Novonesis core business on Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety matters that are critical from compliance point of view as well as sustaining the EHS standards of the company. Novonesis is a high-energy team located over sites in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, and Asia

Job Description:-

• Participate in EHS driven project executions and support EHS reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage EHS statutory compliance, documentation, regulatory records, and support internal/external audits.
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely implementation of CAPA.
• Drive emergency preparedness by updating response plans and conducting drills and training programs.
• Drive behavioural safety initiatives, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to improve safety culture.
• Ensure Compliance management for contract Manufacturing for external operations.
• Experience in implementation of ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements.
• Track leading and lagging safety indicators and prepare and share EHS MIS performance insights with leadership.
• Engage with relevant stakeholders to deliver EHS trainings and promote site wide safety awareness.
• Monitor contractor EHS performance and ensure adherence to site EHS standards and expectations.
• Ensure timely submission of Environmental data.
• Ensure and support operation of Wastewater Treatment Plant.
• Develop and maintain Legal Register.
• Support in global / regional EHS roll outs and programs.
• Act as focal point for implementation and follow-up of ZEAL process.
• Participate in “Change Management System” and provide solutions by working in partnership across departments /sites.
