Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Insurance Placement Specialist with expertise in Employee Benefits (EB) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and securing the best employee benefit insurance solutions for our clients. You’ll work closely with clients and insurers to ensure comprehensive and cost-effective coverage that aligns with clients’ unique needs.


Key Responsibilities:


● Coordinate with internal teams to align on client requirement gathering, including fresh, rollover, and renewal cases.

● Establish workflows for requirement gathering, raising RFQs, managing insurer escalations, tracking placement success rates, maintaining TAT with insurers for quotes, and prioritizing clients.

● Present data to insurers to obtain the best quotes for clients in terms of coverage and premium.

● Stay informed about competition and client budgets to negotiate and secure the best deals for clients with insurer POCs or seniors.

● Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs), conduct comparative analysis of offers, and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with insurers to secure optimal coverage for clients.

● Collaborate with client-facing teams to understand client needs, generate quotes, create comparative statements, follow up with insurers, and manage policy vetting to ensure smooth policy issuance.

● Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competition, leveraging market knowledge to enhance client offerings and align with business objectives.


Qualifications:


● Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field.

● Experience: Proven experience of 3+ years in employee benefits insurance placement or related insurance roles.


● Skills:

Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to compare insurance products and recommend suitable solutions.

Familiarity with employee benefit regulations, industry standards, and risk management practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Handled flows of 5-8 RFQ per day
