A seasoned technical program manager who has sound experience in managing IoT complex programs. Knowledge of Automotive domain will be a huge value add. Should be technically sound and should be able to drive a technically competent team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a highly technically competent team that is accountable for a state-of-the-art connectivity platform, where products and services are built for Daimler Truck customers.
• Define strategy, services, solutions and architectures in collaboration with Global market facing teams
• Develop, mentor a team of about 15- 20 members and performance management
• Encourage and practice Agile methods for development
• Collaborate with departments across the Connectivity Service Group and partners/suppliers across the industry to achieve Project Objectives. 
• Ensure software meets all Product requirements, quality & security Standards
• Ensure effective and timely communication with all Business stakeholders
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of software development process; performs root cause analysis, identifies problem areas & resolutions

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor of Engineering in Computer science (OR related disciplines)
• ~16+ years of experience in End Customer facing IT Application software, (Preferably in the Automotive Business Domain) 
• Experience in handing international collaborations with Internal Partners and end Customers
• Practicing Agile development methodology
• Experience in scalable product development on cloud IoT platforms 
• Experience of working with cloud platform Microsoft Azure (Preferred)
• Experience in developing Microservices (preferably Spring Boot / .Net core) with good exposure to web application frameworks. 
• Very assertive good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in creating solution prototypes.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
• Experience of DevOps concepts, tools and technology landscape
• Strong know-how on the Software Architecture principles/Styles/patterns.
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
