Microsoft Copilot & AI Workplace Solution consultant responsible for the strategy, design, governance, and adoption of Microsoft Copilot technologies across the enterprise. Acting as the technical authority for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI-powered workplace solutions, the role drives the implementation of intelligent business processes, AI agents, conversational experiences, and enterprise automation.

The consultant partners with Business Units, Digital Workplace, Security, Compliance, Information Management, and Enterprise Architecture teams to maximize business value from AI investments while ensuring governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.

In addition, the role owns FinOps governance for Microsoft Copilot services, including consumption monitoring, credit optimization, cost transparency, cross charge models, and value realization across AI workloads

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise roadmap, architecture standards, and governance model for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI-powered workplace services.
• Lead the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of Copilot agents, custom copilots, plugins, connectors, and conversational AI solutions.
• Establish enterprise standards for AI governance, Responsible AI, security, compliance, and data protection across Copilot services.
• Drive business transformation initiatives through AI automation, workflow modernization, and intelligent employee experiences.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value Copilot use cases.
• Define adoption strategies, success metrics, and value realization frameworks for Copilot and AI investments.
• Develop reusable patterns, best practices, and architecture blueprints for enterprise AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to ensure secure use of enterprise data within Copilot solutions.
• Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives involving Microsoft AI technologies.
• Establish FinOps governance for Copilot licensing, capacity consumption, credits, and AI service utilization.
• Define cost optimization strategies and monitoring frameworks for Copilot workloads.
• Manage consumption analytics, chargeback/showback models, and financial reporting.
• Develop forecasting and budgeting models for Copilot adoption and enterprise AI services.

Qualifications

Technical Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities across Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related workloads.
• Deep expertise in Copilot Studio including custom copilots, autonomous agents, topics, orchestration, environment governance, and lifecycle management.
• Experience building enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and AI Builder.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Graph, connectors, enterprise integration patterns, and API-driven solutions.
• Experience monitoring AI consumption, usage analytics, service adoption metrics, and cost optimization.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, optimization, and value realization.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, cloud services, integration frameworks, and digital workplace technologies.
• Experience integrating Copilot solutions with enterprise applications, data platforms, and business processes.

• Knowledge of automation, workflow orchestration, and intelligent process transformation initiatives.

   

  Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Microsoft workplace technologies, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, or cloud solutions.
• 5+ years of experience designing and governing enterprise Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Proven experience delivering AI, automation, digital workplace, or business transformation initiatives.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or AI-driven workplace solutions at enterprise scale.
• Experience managing cloud financial governance, FinOps programs, or technology cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience supporting global, large-scale enterprise environments.
