Job responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in design systems, design operations, or a closely related
  
  
  

discipline within a product design organisation

• Deep Figma expertise — including component architecture, variables, tokens, auto
  
  
  

layout, and plugin development

• Hands-on experience with design token systems and Figma-to-code handoff workflows
• Enough understanding of front-end development concepts to have informed, credible
  
  
  

conversations with engineers about implementation and to identify when something has

been built incorrectly

• In-depth knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and how to embed them at a
  
  
  

systems level

• Experience defining governance models, contribution frameworks, and documentation
  
  
  

standards for design systems used by multiple teams

• A track record of producing documentation and knowledge resources that actually get
  
  
  

used

• Familiarity with the broader design infrastructure tooling landscape and a track record of
  
  
  

picking up new tools quickly

• Actively uses AI tools as a core part of the workflow — from generating assets and
  
  
  

accelerating exploration to solving novel problems on the fly; a natural early adopter who

figures things out before there’s a tutorial for them

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
