Job Title: Design Engineer (Steering / Suspension) -Unigraphics

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of steering and suspension systems for both conventional and electric commercial vehicles. This role involves a variety of tasks including component packaging, layout finalization, and preparation of both 2D and 3D designs.

Responsibilities

• Support in the design and development of steering and suspension systems for commercial conventional and electric vehicles.
• Finalize packaging and layout of steering and suspension components.
• Prepare 2D and 3D designs.
• Conduct kinematics and layout studies, FEA, packaging studies, and sheet metal/casting and tubing design.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience in design engineering, specifically in commercial vehicle steering system applications.
• Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Unigraphics, SMARAGD/Platon, NX Sheet Metal, NX Casting, NX Kinematic, FEA, and Tubing modules.
• Experience in creating install-drawings, defining Basic GD&T, and handling ECR documentation and release processes.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with commercial vehicle steering system applications.
