Position Summary:
The Data Analytics Lead is a global role within Written Standards and Compliance Learning (WS&CL), responsible for maintenance and creation of dashboards and tools, contributing to the overall efficiency and compliance of R&D operations. This role will focus on the development, analysis, and reporting of data-driven insights to enhance decision-making, enable inspection readiness, and optimize learning management, procedural document management and processes related to written standards management. The Data Analytics Lead will ensure data integrity, provide actionable insights, and contribute to the continuous improvement of learning systems, document systems and compliance frameworks.

- Develop and maintain data analytics frameworks to support compliance training, learning management system (GLMS), document management system and processes related to written standards.
- Collaborate with the R&D business groups to create global reports, metrics, and KPIs for R&D business groups, process governance team and compliance learning team
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to provide real-time insights into compliance metrics, GLMS data, training compliance, training matrix, curriculum completion rates, and process key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to enable inspection readiness and improve compliance training and process efficiency
- Support the R&D Learning System Director in defining and implementing metrics and KPIs related to compliance training and learning administration activities
- Support the WS&CL leadership team in defining and implementing metrics and KPIs related to process excellence and document management activities
- Provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements and system upgrades to enhance dashboards and reports functionality and end-user support
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in compliance training and document management reports and metrics for inspection readiness
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to data analytics processes and tools supporting the learning system, document management and process excellence system
- Act as the primary point of contact for all data analytics matters, providing technical expertise and support to stakeholders across R&D functions
Basic Qualification :
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence roles
- 3+ years of business partnering and business analysis experience collaborating with Global Process Owners, Function Leads and SMEs to define, develop and implement metrics and KPIs that enable health checks and continuous improvement across R&D, Global Health and Chief Patient Organization (areas such as Clinical Operations, Regulatory, Safety, Quality, Specialty Research Units and Biostatistics).
- In-depth experience of implementing a compliance training dashboard and training-matrix tool to improve inspection readiness and streamline learner identification and assignment for a large, complex transformative organization.
- Adept in defining evolving requirements and built tools for annual training-record reviews, periodic R&D procedural-document reviews, and logs supporting ongoing clinical-trial conduct.
- Led periodic review, refresh and reporting of measures for a department-wide data hub and control tower and deploy a suite of decision-support tools for senior leaders.
- Strong understanding of compliance training and learning management systems (SAP SuccessFactors), Document Management systems (Veeva) and Process Management system like Find-IT
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Tableau) and data transformation (eg: Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL, Databricks)
- Working knowledge in Smartsheet, SharePoint, and interfaces with Power Platform
- Experience in managing and analyzing large datasets ensuring optimal system performance and accuracy following organizational changes
- Ability to lead in a global, multicultural and cross-functional environment
- Proven ability to develop and implement data analytics frameworks and reporting systems, juggling multiple priorities across functions
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation and analytical skills
- Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, specializing in Data Science/Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics, or related field
Preferred Qualification :
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Expertise in database management (e.g., Microsoft Fabrics, Azure Data Factory, Databricks or SQL)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders
- Comprehensive understanding of cross-functional processes within R&D
- Knowledge of industry measurement standards for learning compliance, document management and process excellence
- Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma)
