We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join a fast-growing, data-driven team based in Bengaluru. This full-time role is ideal for professionals with 1-2 years of experience who are passionate about working with data to uncover insights and drive strategic decisions. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into meaningful, actionable intelligence that supports product, engineering, and business teams.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data is clean, accessible, and reliable. You will leverage tools like Python, SQL, and modern data platforms to build data pipelines, perform analysis, and create dashboards that enable informed decision-making. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with a business-oriented mindset to translate complex datasets into clear and impactful insights.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data extraction
• Develop and maintain Python scripts and data pipelines for data processing and automation
• Work with PostgreSQL and OLAP databases to manage and analyze large-scale datasets
• Design and build interactive dashboards and visualizations to support self-service analytics
• Analyze data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights for business improvement
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to validate data models and ensure data accuracy
• Optimize data storage and query performance using columnar formats and compression techniques
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and ensure consistency across reporting systems
• Support decision-making by presenting insights in a clear and structured manner
• Continuously improve data processes, workflows, and reporting mechanisms
  
  

• 1-2 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization and handling complex datasets
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and at least one OLAP database (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse)
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Metabase and building interactive dashboards
• Understanding of columnar data formats (Parquet, ORC) and data compression techniques
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to derive insights from complex data
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Exposure to modern data stacks, ETL/ELT processes, or orchestration tools is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a strong ownership mindset
