Summary:

As an Agent-Based Simulation Engineer, you will be part of our niche team, helping clients transform their operations through intelligent simulation, Digital Twins, AI, and data-driven decision-making. You will develop Agent-Based Simulation (ABS) models that represent complex systems involving autonomous entities, human behavior, and operational processes across manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, healthcare, energy, and other industries. You will work within cross-functional teams of simulation engineers, solution architects, AI specialists, and business consultants to deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency, resilience, and business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop Agent-Based, Discrete Event, and hybrid simulation models to address business and operational challenges.
  • Translate client requirements and business processes into simulation solutions and experimental scenarios.
  • Perform model verification, validation, calibration, and sensitivity analysis to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze simulation outputs and provide actionable insights to business and project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, AI, and business teams to deliver simulation and Digital Twin solutions.
  • Follow Agile methodologies, engineering standards, and quality assurance practices throughout delivery.
  • Create reusable simulation assets, technical documentation, and knowledge management artifacts.


Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Develop and maintain Agent-Based Simulation (ABS), Discrete Event Simulation (DES), and hybrid simulation models using platforms such as AnyLogic, Mesa, GAMA, and NetLogo, Technomatix Plant Simulation, Flexism, Simio, Simul8, ExtendSim, Automod.


Design intelligent agent behaviors, decision logic, interaction mechanisms, and simulation architectures to model complex systems.

Utilize Python, Java, SQL, and Object-Oriented Programming principles to build scalable and reusable simulation solutions.

Perform model verification, validation, calibration, sensitivity analysis, and optimization to ensure simulation accuracy and reliability.

Integrate simulation models with enterprise applications, databases, IoT data streams, and Digital Twin ecosystems.

Apply Operations Research, Machine Learning techniques, and data analytics methodologies to enhance simulation outcomes and business decision-making.

Leverage AutoCAD, Azure/AWS cloud platforms, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Power BI for simulation deployment, visualization, integration, and reporting.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Discrete Event Simulation.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
  • Continuous learning mindset with exposure to Digital Twins, AI/ML integration, Operations Research, and emerging simulation technologies
