Overview

We are hiring a Creative Lead to own the complete creative strategy and execution for hyperlocal brands targeting Bengaluru and Karnataka audiences, with a strong focus on building high-visibility, widely shared, culturally rooted content that drives local recall and popularity.


This is a team-facing leadership role with full creative authority. The Creative Lead has final approval on all creative output before it reaches the client.


Account Managers manage communication and deliverables. The Creative Lead owns strategy, concepts, cultural relevance, speed, quality, and brand consistency.


The Creative Lead owns the entire creative lifecycle- from initial brainstorming and concept development to shoot supervision, casting talent, editing oversight, revision management, and final publishing. This role is responsible for ensuring every piece of content moves seamlessly from idea to execution to live deployment, with full accountability at every stage.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Own complete creative direction for assigned hyperlocal and mass-market brands.

• Develop social-first strategies tailored to Bengaluru and Karnataka audiences.

• Create content frameworks that resonate with regional culture, language nuances, and local consumer behavior.

• Build campaign concepts across digital and offline platforms including social media, banners, outdoor branding, retail creatives, and transit media.

• Lead end-to-end creative development for social posts, reels, performance ads, and promotional campaigns.

• Stay updated on local trends, meme culture, regional conversations, and platform-specific formats.

• Ensure creative output balances mass appeal with brand consistency.

• Lead and guide Social Media Managers, Designers, Editors, Copywriters, and Production teams.

• Convert client inputs (via Account Managers) into actionable creative briefs.

• Review and approve all creatives before client submission.

• Step in hands-on for copywriting, scripting, ideation, or campaign direction when required.

• Adapt messaging for English and regional language audiences when needed.

• Maintain high output speed without compromising effectiveness.


Requirements/Qualifications

• 2–4 years of agency experience handling regional or mass-market brands.

• Demonstrated experience creating campaigns targeting Bengaluru and Karnataka audiences.

• Strong understanding of Karnataka’s cultural context, consumer behavior, and regional trends.

• Ability to speak and write Kannada proficiently for campaign development, copy supervision, and regional communication when required.

• Experience developing content that resonates with hyperlocal audiences across digital and offline platforms.

• Strong conceptual thinking with practical execution capability.

• Experience leading and reviewing a multidisciplinary creative team.

• Comfortable managing fast-turnaround, high-volume regional campaigns.

• Agency background is mandatory.
