What Will You Do
Serve as regional advisor providing guidance on internal controls and compliance, measurement accuracy standards and practices, and inventory/stock accounting practices for the Asia Pacific region supply chain teams
Lead regional compliance assurance efforts through effective monitoring, governance, and oversight activities
Lead and engage in global network of Community of Practices to share and adopt cross regional best practices
Provide leadership and support for regional supply chain internal controls and compliance auditing
Partner with Regional Supply Chain Leaders to drive adherence to internal controls, measurement standards, and inventory accounting processes
Strengthen compliance competency in internal controls, measurement standards, and third-party oversight processes within Asia Pacific Supply Chain teams
Foster a culture of internal control awareness and measurement accuracies across the Supply Chain organization, with focus on third-party oversight
Key Responsibilities Support the integrity and effectiveness of internal controls.
Initiate and implement fit for risk regional initiatives to meet internal controls requirements and processes.
Support and address internal controls risk and concerns in the area of change management, inventory management and accounting, company standards and requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
Steward and drive regional compliance through proactive monitoring and oversight of compliance activities.
Lead supply chain assessment and health checks across countries in Asia including stewarding and monitoring closure action plans.
Focal point of contact for external and internal controls Audits and reviews including stewarding and monitoring closure action plans.
Support 3rd party service provider qualification and compliance activities in line with contractual requirements and industry standards.
Support Compliance With Measurement Standards And Hydrocarbon Accounting Requirements
Initiate and implement fit for risk regional initiatives on measurement accuracy and practices, and inventory accounting processes in line with company measurement practices, contractual requirements and industry measurement standards.
Drive global and regional alignment on measurement practices and hydrocarbon accounting processes.
Lead and drive regional hydrocarbon accounting stewardship activities.
Provide support to the Supply Chain teams across the region on 3rd party service provider measurement practices and hydrocarbon accounting activities .
Other Activities
Provide support to the Supply Chain teams across the region on incident investigations related to internal controls & risks, measurement accuracy and hydrocarbon accounting issues.
Support capital projects on compliance to internal controls, measurement practices and hydrocarbon accounting requirements.
Provide training, mentorship and coaching to the Supply Chain personnel across Asia Pacific in line with competency development needs.
About You Skills & Qualifications
University degree required, with an engineering degree preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with logistics, supply chain and/or manufacturing preferred.
Experience in auditing measurement practices and hydrocarbon accounting and/or hands-on experience in operating and maintenance of measurement equipment (e.g. flowmeters, tank gauging systems, weighscales/weighbridges, etc.) would also be considered.
Knowledge of American Petroleum Institute (API) Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards (MPMS) or equivalent standards and/or hydrocarbon accounting practices would be an added advantage.
Experience in internal controls risk & change management experience and skills would be an added advantage.
Demonstrate sound business judgment, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and customer focus as required for effective case management or incident investigations.
Ability to integrate technical expertise, industry knowledge, and contractual obligations in decision making.
Strong interpersonal effectiveness with ability to communicate cross functionally and regionally at various levels of the organization and influence others.
Strong team player with effective communication skills and ability to influence without authority.
Ability to build and utilize cross-functional relationships to develop and implement strategies
Efficient and effective use of resources to achieve results, develops and monitors own work plans to achieve objectives
Represent ExxonMobil to third parties and industry partners in a clear and confident manner
