Job Summary
The Sr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP BODS possess in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously. The position is responsible for the overall design, development and implementation of SAP BODS Applications. The role is proficient in the areas of solution design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting. Working in a global environment, this role has a hands-on approach capable of working across teams and time zones.
This role must have hands-on experience in SAP BODS, Build BODS queries and jobs, strong experience in Databases / SQL, Data migration using BODS, SAP SLT and HANA. Experience in Agile development methodology for projects and enhancements is preferred.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Possesses a strong understanding of the overall vision, business needs, and solution architecture for SAP BODS applications. Uses this in-depth knowledge to solve reasonably complex problems.
Utilizes knowledge of best practices and acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical solution designs.
Works closely with the process team to understand business requirements, review functional specifications, develop technical specifications, build applications, unit test the applications, and support the process team during integration testing.
Designs and builds applications with best practices in mind.
Investigates and corrects production issues.
May be involved in supporting and training other team members.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Work Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in the areas specified under Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Experience in gathering requirements and providing technical solution design.
Strong experience in SAP BODS design and development.
Development experience with advanced BODS functionalities.
Strong background in data migration with hands-on experience using SAP BODS.
Ability to quickly understand existing functionality and rules, and to build BODS queries and jobs.
Strong experience with databases and SQL.
Ability to build highly technical BODS jobs using multiple data sources and complex business rules.
High-level understanding of SAP modules.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of SAP Master Data relevant tables and joins.
High-level understanding of SAP transactional data and underlying tables and joins.
Experience with data profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, and summary reports.
Strong experience in configuring SLT.
Strong experience with ETL transformation services, via the SAP Landscape Transformation server (SLT) or SAP Data Services.
Excellent analytical, logical problem-solving, and technological skills.
Ability to work in a global and virtual environment and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment with a self-motivated work ethic; utilize sound judgment with the ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.
Willingness to travel globally.
Awareness of all relevant SOPs as per company policy related to the position covered by this job description.
Ability to comply with the companys safety and quality policies at all times.
Preferred Qualifications
Good knowledge of SAP business processes.
