Chief Test Automation Engineer - NET

We are seeking a Chief Test Automation Engineer specializing in automated testing within the .NET framework to lead our test automation initiatives.

You will work closely with scrum and development teams to design scalable test automation solutions, drive testing strategies, and implement cutting-edge practices to optimize release cycles. Join us to contribute to innovative projects and enhance software quality through effective automation.

Responsibilities

• Drive test automation to ensure repeatable tests are automated and reduce test cycle time during releases
• Participate in scrum teams alongside development teams to define and refine unit, integration, and performance testing
• Create, execute, and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks
• Implement, collect, analyze, and report team and project metrics to demonstrate business value and continuous improvement
• Design large-scale solutions with deep technical details
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify project requirements
• Design test automation solutions that are maintainable, extensible, modular, and adhere to industry best practices such as SOLID and design patterns
• Create and maintain test automation frameworks and shared solutions usable across multiple projects and programs
• Define and implement comprehensive test automation strategies including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach
• Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, workflows, and configurations
• Evaluate and select the best test automation tools for different applications

Requirements

• Extensive experience with 12+ years in .NET/C# hands-on coding and test automation for UI, Web, and API
• Strong expertise in testing strategy, test metrics, code reviews, design patterns, and clean coding principles (SOLID)
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable test automation frameworks and solutions
• Experience with API automation, BDD, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to code quality
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated by leading test automation initiatives in complex projects
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders

• Exposure to AI implementation and GenAI tools
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agents, and Multi-Cloud Platforms (MCPs)
