Overview

a skilled Network Designer with strong understanding of telecom network domains such as CDN, ISP, IPP, MPLS, and Core Networks. The candidate will be responsible for supporting network inventory, topology modelling, discovery & reconciliation activities, and collaborating with architecture and OSS teams to enable efficient network planning and transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on exposure to telecom network elements, inventory systems, and network onboarding workflows within large-scale telecom environments.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and support telecom network domains including:
    • CDN
    • ISP
    • IPP
    • MPLS / Core Networks
  • Work with network components such as:
    • Routers
    • Switches
    • Load Balancers
    • Optical / Transmission Devices
  • Manage and analyze:
    • Network inventory
    • Physical and logical network topology
    • Device and service modelling
  • Support Discovery & Reconciliation (DnR) activities:
    • Network device discovery
    • Inventory validation
    • Discrepancy analysis and reconciliation
  • Assist in Planning & Build (PnB) activities:
    • Capacity planning
    • Network onboarding workflows
    • Service provisioning alignment
  • Understand end-to-end network flows and topology relationships across inventory systems
  • Collaborate with:
    • Solution architects
    • OSS/BSS teams
    • Network engineering and transformation teams
  • Participate in telecom transformation and modernization initiatives

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of telecom network technologies and architecture
  • Experience with network inventory and topology management
  • Good knowledge of:
    • MPLS/Core Networks
    • CDN/ISP environments
    • Optical and transmission networks
  • Understanding of:
    • Discovery & Reconciliation (DnR)
    • Device/service modelling
    • Inventory validation processes
  • Familiarity with:
    • Routers, switches, load balancers
    • Physical and logical topology concepts
  • Ability to analyze and connect inventory relationships and service dependencies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Telecom OSS/BSS systems
  • Knowledge of:
    • ServiceNow
    • SRIMS
    • SMARTS
    • UII
  • Understanding of TM Forum standards:
    • TMF639
    • TMF674
  • Experience in telecom digital transformation programs

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field
  • Relevant telecom certifications are an added advantage
