CAD Engineer-Electrical

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The role is to be responsible for preparation of techno-commercial proposals, all related activities for bid preparation, submission and other collateral support to customers during proposal stage (pre-sales activities), preparation of detailed Engineering documentation along with As-built drawings

Description Of The Roles And Responsibilities

• Single point responsibility for Ground / roof mounted solar systems by doing basic system design, arriving at layouts, bill of material and SLDs as a part of submission to customer in coordination with Business development / Engineering / project teams.
• Creating Accurate CAD drawings from available input data and updating project drawing list.
• Systematic saving of CAD drawings, keeping server organized and updating projects folders with revisions.
• Seeking clarity from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain on data provided.
• Reviewing and checking drawings for errors, before being sent to any internal or external customers.
• Responsible for on time preparation of necessary drawings for bids and projects.
  
  

Requirements

Skills and tools

• Expertise in latest version AutoCAD & MS office package
• Expertise in running Google Sketchup
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – English and Hindi
• Education: ITI / Diploma Electrical
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of total work experience in Layout and electrical drawing preparation, with minimum 3 years in solar industry.
