As a Business Management team member within the Commercial Banking Executive Business Management Team, you will support Commercial Banking–Investment Banking partnership initiatives, ensure alignment with evolving data privacy and confidentiality requirements, and enable senior management decision-making through clear reporting and analysis. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to represent business management priorities, promote best practices across C&SI teams, and deliver high-impact projects in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee reporting, ad-hoc projects, strategic initiatives, and analytics solutions with minimal supervision, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
- Serve as a liaison between Business Management, analytics teams, and senior stakeholders, translating complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Drive process improvements and automation by implementing innovative solutions across Business Management and analytics functions.
- Oversee data management activities to ensure accuracy and compliance, and enhance workflows using new tools and technologies.
- Lead requirements gathering and detailed project planning while managing multiple initiatives and prioritizing tasks and resources.
- Conduct control testing and validation of analytics and Business Management solutions.
- Lead business review processes by synthesizing data into actionable insights for senior management.
- Collaborate with IT, end-users, and business partners during solution development, UAT, and production migration.
- Identify and escalate risks and opportunities across Business Management and analytics processes.
- Draft procedures, communications, and meeting minutes, and coordinate or deliver training for bankers and business stakeholders as needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Chartered Accountant/CFA/MBA (or similar educational background) with 1 years of relevant experience in Finance, Business Management, and Analytics.
- Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills.
- Intermediate, hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, ThoughtSpot) and programming/query tools (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Intermediate understanding of Planning & Analysis (P&A), banking and product concepts, data analytics, data modeling, and automation.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, and data visualizations.
- Intermediate project management skills.
- Strong client partnership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to articulate effectively across levels and functions.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Previous experience in business management, control management, and/or project management.
- Experience organizing and delivering training sessions.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in financial services.
- Ability to maintain high performance on high-demand, time-sensitive initiatives with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
