Relay Product Excellence's mission is to monitor Transaction Integrity for products supporting Identity Verification, Account Support, and Compliance across Carrier and Driver processes. We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Business Analyst to join the Relay Product Excellence team. In this role, you will support the analysis of complex operational data, help define business requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement across compliance and verification workflows. You'll work closely with stakeholders across operations and product to identify gaps, measure performance, and support automation and process improvement initiatives. Our team monitors Transaction Integrity for products supporting Identity Verification, Account Support, and Compliance across Carrier and Driver processes- partnering with product and technology teams to ensure the integrity and reliability of processes at scale.

Key job responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and data methodologies; build automated, scalable solutions for recurring analytical needs
  • Extract, analyze, and interpret datasets using SQL, Python, and AI tools to generate actionable insights
  • Perform root cause analysis, variance analysis, and pattern identification with guidance from senior analysts
  • Apply data transformations and basic statistical techniques to support diagnostic analysis
  • Support the design and maintenance of automated reporting systems, dashboards, and KPI visuals to track metrics
  • Validate data quality, flag upstream issues, and help maintain data integrity across workflows
  • Solve defined business problems using structured analytical approaches; escalate ambiguous or complex issues while proposing initial solutions
  • Support comprehensive analysis for business cases, product pilots, and strategic initiatives that contribute to measurable business impact
  • Communicate findings clearly to immediate team and stakeholders up to two levels above, translating analytical results into clear formats for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, and roadblocks; participate in requirements gathering and help clarify success criteria
  • Scope and deliver analytical projects within defined timelines, incorporating best practices and quality checks in all work
  • Partner with Product, Tech, Operations, and data engineering teams on assigned workstreams to support process automation and data quality efforts
  • Contribute to business requirements reviews, documentation, and team-level process improvements

About The Team

Relay Product Excellence's (RPE) mission is to monitor Transaction Integrity for products supporting (a) Identity Verification, (b) Account Support, and (c) Compliance. We do this at a larger scale for Carrier and Driver processes, by collaborating with product teams like Carrier Identity and Continuous Compliance (CICC), Relay Safety and Trust (RST), and Relay Mobile. We supplement these products to help create programs where automation is yet to be launched, or cannot be developed. We are committed to enhancing the experience for carriers, drivers and product partners by adapting to emerging needs of the business, and launching programs that have a measurable impact in reducing waste & abuse, and ensuring compliance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in Amazon Redshift and other AWS technologies
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Experience with industry standard tools and scripting languages (Python or Perl) for automation
  • Experience in AgentCore, QuickAutomate, Selenium and GenAI tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)
  • Experience creating complex SQL queries joining multiple datasets, ETL DW concepts
  • Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages
  • Experience using very large datasets
