Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst - Controls Specialist to join our team, focusing on designing and implementing control frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements such as MiFID II, EMIR, Asia and CFTC, SEC, and CAD.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control frameworks for regulatory reporting
  • Establish key controls, metrics, and surveillance mechanisms to detect reporting anomalies
  • Develop KPIs, KRIs, and monitoring dashboards
  • Perform regular control testing and effectiveness assessments
  • Maintain comprehensive control documentation and RCSA (Risk & Control Self-Assessment)
  • Oversee data quality controls and reconciliation processes
  • Partner with first-line teams to embed controls and drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and timeliness
  • Implement Kaizen and DROIT methodologies

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in Business Analysis and Agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, Asia and CFTC, SEC, CAD regulatory reporting
  • Expertise in designing and implementing control frameworks
  • Skills in developing KPIs, KRIs, and monitoring dashboards
  • Familiarity with control testing and effectiveness assessments
  • Capability to maintain control documentation and RCSA
  • Understanding of data quality controls and reconciliation processes
