About The Role

CoinDCX is now the #5 investment/trading app in India and the #1 crypto platform by yearly active users, with 2 Cr+ registered users. CoinDCX is now expanding its alternative investment ecosystem by launching a flagship global equities platform operating natively out of the GIFT City IFSCA. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, high-velocity leader to step in as the Head of Business (US & Global Stocks) at an AVP/VP level.

Think of this role as the mini-CEO of this business line. You will have absolute, end-to-end ownership of the category. Your mandate is to take this product from zero to one and beyond, manage the complete P&L, architect the user growth engine, and align the core product strategy to deliver a seamless, best-in-class international investing experience to millions of existing CoinDCX and new users.

Core Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership & Category Strategy
• Define the long-term commercial vision, monetisation models, and financial roadmap for the Global Assets business line.
• Manage the end-to-end category P&L, taking absolute accountability for revenue generation, cost structures, and margin optimisation.
• Core Product Strategy
• Partner deeply with the product and engineering teams to shape a frictionless, high-conversion user journey (onboarding, funding via PSPs, and trade execution).
• Translate complex backend mechanisms (e.g., fractional stock ownership, LRS processing, and ledger reconciliations) into an intuitive, crypto-like retail trading UX.
• Strategic Partnerships & Ecosystem Management
• Upstream Liquidity & Clearing: Own and manage critical institutional relationships with global clearing partners and backend liquidity providers (e.g., Alpaca US, Interactive Brokers), ensuring competitive commercial terms, high API uptime, and seamless trade execution.
• Payment & FX Rails: Architect and manage the network of integrated Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and GIFT City International Banking Units (IBUs) to optimise high-speed INR-to-USD fund routing and secure market-leading wholesale FX conversion rates.
• User Acquisition, Retention & Growth
• Own the user growth metrics from day one-architecting data-driven growth loops, new user GTM strategy, and cross-selling strategies to convert existing CoinDCX users.
• Design robust engagement and retention frameworks to maximise User Lifetime Value (LTV) and Asset Under Custody (AUC) growth.
• Cross-Functional "Mini-CEO" Orchestration
  
  

Serve as the central gravity well for the business line, collaborating closely with:

• Compliance & Legal: To ensure flawless alignment with the IFSCA framework, LRS compliance, and PMLA rules.
• Risk & Operations: To manage backend capital liquidity floats and settlement cycles.
• Customer Experience (CX): T o build a bulletproof support system that tackles queries like cross-border remittance, tax (e.g., 1042-S filings), etc., seamlessly.
  
  

What we are looking for - Must-Haves:

• 6-10 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in a P&L-owning or category-building role at a consumer fintech.
• Deep familiarity with the Indian retail investing landscape - how users discover, activate, and retain on wealth/investing platforms. LRS or global investing exposure is a strong plus.
• The "Builder” Mindset: Proven experience launching or aggressively scaling a financial product line from scratch in a regulated landscape.
• Proven full funnel GTM execution: has taken a product from zero to meaningful scale - not just contributed to it, and has experience working with brand, performance, CLM, and all other relevant growth and marketing teams.
• Product intuition without the title: has worked closely with PMs in the past. Knows what makes a great fintech UX from first principles.
• Data-first operator: can define their own success metrics, and does not outsource analytical thinking to an analyst.
• Strong communicator upward and across: comfortable presenting to founders and regulators in the same week; can align stakeholders without authority.
  
  

Good to Have

• Prior exposure to SEBI-regulated or IFSCA-regulated products - brokerage or similar.
• Experience with LRS-based investing platforms (INDmoney, Vested, Winvesta, or similar) - either as a builder or close operator.
• Experience hiring and managing a team of 20-25 people across functions.
