The Infra Lead is responsible for overseeing the management and strategic direction of the Core Banking and infrastructure support services. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the banks IT infrastructure that supports core functions of the bank in coordination and guidance from Mashreq’s Group Infrastructure.

• Lead the database and infrastructure support teams to provide high-quality service delivery, ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and secure.
• Develop and implement strategies for database management, data security, and infrastructure support.
• Deploy and fine tuning of Oracle Databases on Exadata and IBM Hardware.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to align infrastructure support services with business objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective services.
• Oversee the design and implementation of new database and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Maintain systems in adherence with the audit and compliance requirements
• Lead and manage the technical team supporting database and Operating System platforms.
• Ensure service stability, uptime of the systems under the portfolio as per the agreed SLA
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Oracle database management, Exadata, IBM Hardware and IT infrastructure security support.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven track record of managing complex IT projects and delivering results.
• 12-15 years in Infra technology and SDLC experience out of which 10+ years in Database management and Infra operations.
