Job Title: Automation Tester

Position: STE

Experience: 5- 12 Years

Category: Software Testing

Shift: 1 PM to 10 PM

Employment Type: Full Time

Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement automated testing solutions using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Analysing business requirements to determine the test strategy covered by automation testing
• Analyse test results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Develop and execute new test scripts using automated Frameworks such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Appium
• Record problems and issues in accordance with the projects problem and issue management plans
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
• Document defects using the projects defect management tools.
• Work with the application team to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process.
• Participate in the release control process (when the application is transferred from the build team to the test team) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
• Analysing Test Results and Reporting Defects
• Experience in Functional Testing
• Experience in leading small group of Software tester (2-3) is a plus
• Creating and enhancing Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts, and TestNG Annotations.
• Good knowledge on Model driven testing using ConformIQ tool
  
  

Requirements And Skills

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• Extensive experience with Robot Framework-Python/ JAVA Selenium for web application testing.
• Strong proficiency in Appium for mobile application testing on both Android and iOS
• Solid understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
• Proven track record of leading automation testing efforts in a fast-paced, agile environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with Test Management Tools such as HPALM, JIRA etc.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience in Banking Domain is an advantage
