Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Position Description: Automation Test Engineers play a crucial role in ensuring software quality by designing, implementing, and executing automated tests to validate software functionality and performance.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Identify Test Cases: Automation Test Engineers are responsible for identifying which test cases should be automated. They analyze application functionality and prioritize test cases based on their impact and likelihood of failure
• Develop Automation Scripts: They design and develop automation scripts using various testing tools and frameworks. This involves writing code to automate repetitive testing tasks, which helps in improving efficiency and accuracy
• Execute Tests: Automation Test Engineers execute automated tests and analyze the results. They track software defect reports and ensure that all testing-related work is carried out according to defined standards and procedures
• Document Testing Processes: They maintain detailed documentation of testing methods, results, and defect reports. This documentation is crucial for transparency and for future reference during the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with Development Teams: Automation Test Engineers work closely with software developers and quality assurance analysts to develop effective testing strategies and plans. They provide input on functional requirements and participate in product design reviews
• Configure Test Environments: They set up and configure the necessary test environments to perform automated testing without affecting the original code. This may involve creating virtual machines or using cloud-based testing environments
• Continuous Improvement: Automation Test Engineers are also responsible for continuously improving the automation testing process. They analyze test results to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
  
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

Must have skill:

Working knowledge of Tricentis Tosca (preferred, not mandatory) Proficiency in Selenium and Core Java Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) Knowledge of API test automation.

Good to have skill:

Knowledge of Tosca Standard and Image-based identification strategiesExperience with Test Management tools such as Zephyr Scale or XrayExposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and JenkinsExperience in Investment Banking / Financial Services domainExposure to enterprise-scale testing and regulated environments
