associate Lead

• Supervises a team, allocates tasks to team members and co-ordinate work of other team members to efficiently implement the end-to-end testing in the software development life cycle.
• Handles and leads end-to-end testing delivery and activities in alignment with the organisations quality standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs.
• Reviews and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and technology strategy.
• Leads all aspects of the maintenance of all customer technology solutions, ensuring all issues are resolved on time.
• Develops understanding of LSEGs commercial direction and how quality and technology are a part of this.
• Builds positive relationships with internal and external collaborators, growing own network and collaborating with other teams.
• Communicates sophisticated / technical information clearly and concisely in an audience-appropriate format Essential Skills/Experience Required:
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering
• 8+ years in software delivery domain
• Proven experience of testing processes and methodologies: strategy, plan, design, implement, report and measurement
• Good team-collaboration and skills on effective communication
• Familiar with agile methodology and good sense of quality ownership and risk assessment Exhibits Test Management experience in entire software development life cycle, software quality assurance, preferably in multi-tiered applications.
  
  

Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code based on user requirements.
• Develop well maintainable quality software using agile methodologies, adhering to team/company standards.
• Participate in planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements and provide design options, work breakdown and estimates of work.
• Demonstrate a focus on quality, through unit testing, integration testing and peer reviews, ensuring software meets requirements.
• Thoroughly document, review, and maintain all required technical reference material to ensure supportability and reuse.
• Actively participate in team status meetings, providing timely status updates for areas of individual responsibilities within projects to supervisor.
