As a SAP developer, you will be responsible for implementing technology that enables and extends solutions to meet business requirements and fits into Booking.com's system architecture. Responsible for implementing changes and new functions, testing new developments, collaborating with SAP specialists, stakeholders and developers. Give strong support for maintaining and improving all Financial processes, systems and functionalities, which requires good understanding of Financial principals, terms. Actively contributing in identifying best technical solutions together with SAP specialists. Help to train and grow junior colleagues. Learn and share knowledge of new technologies.

We are looking for a hands-on Associate FI Specialist to support and enhance SAP Finance processes within an S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise across core Finance processes, a solid understanding of SAP technical architecture, and the ability to work closely with business users, developers, and integration teams.

This role requires an individual who can independently analyze business requirements, design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and system integrations.

• Support and maintain SAP Finance solutions across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, and Period-End Closing processes.
• Participate in business process design workshops and drive fit-gap analysis for new requirements and process improvements.
• Configure SAP FI/CO functionality in S/4HANA, including master data settings, document processing, validations, substitutions, posting controls, account determination, and financial closing activities.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including foreign currency valuation, accruals, intercompany reconciliations, asset accounting activities, and financial reporting requirements.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications and solution designs.
• Work closely with ABAP developers and integration teams to deliver enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and automation initiatives.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations between SAP and external applications, banking platforms, middleware solutions, data warehouses, and digital products.
• Perform root cause analysis of production incidents, identify process and system gaps, and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Execute and coordinate functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure solution documentation is maintained, including business process flows, configuration documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, and support procedures.
• Provide day-to-day support to finance stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor for SAP Finance-related topics.
  
  
  

• 5–8 years of hands-on SAP FI experience in S/4HANA environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
  
• Experience in business process mapping and SAP FI configuration.
• Good understanding of integration between SAP FI and external/legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience preparing functional specifications and supporting technical design discussions.
• Ability to perform and coordinate testing activities including UAT.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Organized, proactive, flexible, and results-oriented.
