Role Description
The BMS Operation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, operation, and performance optimization of the Building Management System. The role ensures efficient functioning of building systems, energy management, and quick response to alarms or system faults.
Responsibilities
Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) in real-time.
Analyze system alerts, alarms, and trends to identify issues or inefficiencies.
Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, lighting, and fire systems.
Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance coordination.
Generate and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Investigate faults and coordinate with maintenance teams for resolution.
Optimize energy consumption and improve system efficiency.
Maintain accurate logs of system activities and incidents.
Support system upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Basic Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
Knowledge of BMS platforms (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Schneider Electric).
Understanding of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and automation controls.
Basic knowledge of networking and control protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret system data, trends, and technical diagrams.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Utilize AI-driven tools and data analytics to derive operational insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, dashboards, advanced formulas).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Willingness to work in a Hybrid model with rotational week off and night shifts.
