Associate Consultant - IDAM (Okta) Job

Job Description:

Years of Experience: 2+ years

Tools/Technologies: Okta, LDAP, Monitoring Tools (Datadog/Splunk or similar), Servicenow, JIRA/Confluence

Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems across the organization.
• Support provisioning and deprovisioning of user access for systems, applications, and data.
• Help define user roles and manage permissions following company policies and compliance requirements.
• Monitor IAM systems for vulnerabilities, risks, and unusual activity.
• Assist in running access audits and generating IAM reports.
• Respond to access-related incidents and support resolution efforts.
• Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure secure and appropriate access.
• Maintain IAM documentation and support user training on access policies and procedures.
• Support vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing using tools like Burp Suite.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, FedRAM)
  
  

Skills/Qualifications:

• 1 year of hands-on experience with Okta (Required).
• Recent 2+ years hands-on experience of IAM concepts like SSO, RBAC, SAML, OAuth, and identity federation.
• Experience or coursework in DHCP and security frameworks (e.g., NIST).
• Basic networking knowledge (VPN, firewalls, DNS) and authentication protocols.
• Familiarity with system security principles and incident response processes.
• Experience with Burp Suite or similar tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving technologies.
