Job Description

Oversee and manage the overall purchasing activities within the organization.
Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods or services.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts for more favorable terms.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations.
Review and assess the quality of purchased products to ensure they meet the required standards.
Keep accurate records of purchases and pricing.
Stay updated on market trends and new products to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Train and supervise purchasing staff to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.
Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or relevant role.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, import/export regulations, and logistics.
Proficiency in MS Office and purchasing software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions that benefit the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
