Job Title: Director of Engineering – Automotive Networking

Location: Bangalore India

About The Role

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead development of next-generation Automotive Networking solutions including SerDes, Ethernet, and high-speed communication SoCs.

You will drive strategy, architecture, and execution while working closely with global teams, customers, and business leadership to deliver market-leading products.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Define product architecture and roadmap for Automotive Networking solutions
• Lead cross-functional teams delivering SoCs from concept to production
• Drive system-level design across MAC, PCS, PHY, and Digital Front-End subsystems [JD Staff D...Networking | Outlook]
• Own execution excellence: schedules, quality, risk management, and silicon success
• Partner with Product Management and customers on solution definition
• Build and scale world-class engineering teams globally
• Drive innovation in design methodologies, verification, and integration
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 20+ years of experience in semiconductor or SoC development
• Proven leadership of large engineering teams and complex programs
• Expertise in:
• Networking / communication SoCs (Ethernet, SerDes, high-speed links)
• RTL-to-silicon development flows
• Cross-functional integration (Analog, Firmware, Systems)
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive domain experience (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100)
• Experience with Ethernet PHY/MAC or similar high-speed architectures
• Customer-facing or product definition experience
