Role Overview

The APAC Associate / Senior Associate – Benefits Strategy Support role is a newly created position designed to strengthen regional strategy execution, coordination, and analytical support across APAC.

This role reports directly to the APAC Regional Benefits leader and supports the delivery of regional benefits strategy, governance, renewals, and vendor coordination across approximately 13 APAC countries.

The role is execution-focused and manager-directed. Strategic ownership, approvals, and final decisions remain with the APAC regional leader. Day-to-day benefits administration is handled by a centralized Global Benefits Administration team.

This position provides critical leverage to ensure regional initiatives are delivered consistently, risks are surfaced early, and senior leaders have the information and structure needed to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Operational Support

  • Provide hands-on execution support to the APAC Regional Benefits Senior Manager across regional initiatives
  • Track progress against APAC benefits strategy priorities, action plans, and deliverables
  • Prepare and maintain presentations, trackers, reports, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate meetings, document actions, and follow up on deliverables with regional and local stakeholders

Scheme & Program Support

  • Support the coordination of benefits programs and schemes across APAC markets
  • Maintain regional documentation, governance records, and program trackers
  • Collect and consolidate inputs from local HR teams, brokers, and vendors
  • Support basic analysis and reporting under the direction of the Senior Manager

Vendor Coordination & Governance Support

  • Act as a coordination point between vendors, brokers, and internal stakeholders
  • Support vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance processes
  • Track service delivery, SLAs, and issue logs
  • Prepare materials for vendor reviews, renewals, and performance discussions

Renewals & Contract Coordination

  • Maintain a central register of APAC vendor contracts and renewal timelines
  • Support renewal cycles by preparing documentation, trackers, and approval materials
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Legal, and Finance to ensure timely completion
  • Escalate risks, delays, or issues to the Senior Manager proactively

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

  • Support communication flow between APAC, local market, and global teams
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and structured information sharing
  • Support cross-functional collaboration through organized coordination and reporting

Required

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Associate level: 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, benefits support, consulting, or coordination roles
  • Senior Associate level: 4–6 years of experience in benefits, total rewards, HR strategy, or consulting
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple trackers and timelines

Preferred

  • Experience supporting benefits programs, vendors, or renewals
  • Exposure to APAC or regional operating models
  • Working knowledge of India benefits and familiarity with other APAC markets
  • Experience working with Finance, Procurement, and external vendors
  • Basic analytical skills and comfort working with data and reports
